We are grateful to all who attended the first Kids' Fishing Day at Caples Lake Resort. The event was a great success, bringing plenty of joy and successful fishing endeavors!
The day kicked off with Alpine County Fish & Game releasing 1,200 lbs of fish into the lake. With 60 children joining us, it was a day filled with excitement. The kids had a blast fishing from both the shore and the dock, each one aiming to catch the biggest fish!
Thanks to the generous donations from Alpine County and Caples Lake Resort, we were able to offer raffle prizes and serve 120 hot dogs to keep everyone energized for the fishing adventure!
